Natty Boh All Stars Win Again!
Boh’s Roll, Jolly Rogers dropping the Jolly
WASHINGTON, DC (AP)- In the feature game of the week, Natty Boh All-Star Morgan “Don’t Call Me Dorian” Gray kept the Jolly Rogers off-balance all night with his blend of hair-gel spinners, ridiculously-arc’ed pitches and his usual theatrics (minus his standard temper tantrum) to boost the Natty Boh All-Stars to their 4th straight win to start the season. Gray’s greased-up offerings were consistently popped up weakly to the infield, and except for a few mistakes, the Boh’s defense made all the plays to keep their opponents under 10 runs a game. “I knew I had to keep the ball in the air,” said Morgan, referring to last game’s costly injury to SS John Noble. “With rain slicking the grass and the uneven conditions of the infield, I knew that another face would be mashed by a grounder once my American Crew hair product I rub on the ball reacted with the wet grass to create a rocky Slip’N’Slide effect.”
Not that they needed such a veteran effort, as they demolished Jolly Rogers starter Tom “Sweet Thumbs” Carson for 18 runs early, behind Adam Dunn impressionist Andy Remo’s double digit RBIs and multiple HRs. “The whole team hit,” said LF Adam Blickstein, “It feels so good when we hit.” The only scary moment of the game for the Boh’s was when Blickstein made a nice catch on a short fly to left, and unleashed a rocket to 1st trying to double a runner up. The only problem was that he rifled it right at SS Rob Metz who was standing 20 ft away. “All I could do was get my glove in front of me,” Rob said, “I could see the whites of his eyes, and the fire raging within.”
Final Score Boh’s 30, Jolly Rogers 8.
This season is going to be awesome…
